They’ve repeatedly topped the charts, sold over 1.2 million albums worldwide, raked in 100+ million views on YouTube, toured with the biggest names in music, and have taken over airwaves around the globe…
American rock band All Time Low is a bona fide worldwide sensation and they’re kicking off a whole new chapter in 2015. After a two-year writing binge, band members Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, Rian Dawson and Zack Merrick are back with what Alternative Press Magazine called the “most anticipated album of 2015”: their sixth studio album, Future Hearts. The album, released on April 7th, debuted as the top selling album on the US and UK charts.
The massive buzz surrounding the new album triggered a fan frenzy among their 5+ million followers on social media. The hype caused 2015 tour ticket sales to soar, even selling out their March 20th date at London’s famed Wembley Arena in just one week. With well-earned recognition for their success, the group has won two AP Awards and two Kerrang Awards, landed the title of “Best Pop Punk Band” at the Top In Rock Awards, and were named “Band of the Year” by Alternative Press Magazine. All Time Low was also recently named one of Tumblr’s most re-blogged bands of 2014 began.
All Time Low has appeared on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Conan. They will also appear in, and have their music featured in, the upcoming film Fan Girl with Meg Ryan and Kiernan Shipka.
There’s never been a punk band like SWMRS. That’s probably because it’s too limiting to label the Oakland quartet, “a punk band.” You might initially detect the caustic broadsides of The Clash and the amphetamine bubblegum of the Ramones. But within the carefully penned lyrics, propulsive energy, and raw honesty, you can hear the echoes of Public Enemy and Frank Ocean, A Tribe Called Quest to Kurt Cobain.
Houston, TX-based band Waterparks released their debut full-length, Double Dare, on November 4 via Equal Vision Records. Double Dare was recorded in Los Angeles, CA with Benji Madden (Good Charlotte, 5 Seconds of Summer) and Courtney Ballard (5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low) and is the follow-up to three EPs: Cluster (2016), Black Light (2014) and Airplane Conversations (2012).
The Wrecks are an Indie Rock band originating in Thousand Oaks, California. This 5-piece, heavily influenced by groups such as The Killers, Cage the Elephant, and Vampire Weekend, make it almost impossible not to dance. The band self-produced their first few singles (currently awaiting release) on a whim, alongside engineer Andrew D’Angelo, when they were surprised with the news that a friend had been granted access to a studio for just a few days.
